Dovercourt Recreation Centre 2012

During the month of September, 2012, Dovercourt Recreation Centre has allowed members of the West End Studio Tour to hang a display in the main rotunda. This display serves to promote the WEST 2012 (last two weekends in September). It stretches along one wall and includes samples of work by the artists along with signs and materials advertising the Tour. Here is a photograph of the display and the images I have hanging there. If you don't get a chance to do the Tour itself, please have a look at Dovercourt.

Coleus detail.
Coleus detail. A grouping of mottled fresh green and rusty brown coleus plants in a nursery greenhouse. I was really impressed by this grouping of coleus plants and I thought a good abstract image could be created with a close-up photograph of them. The edges of the leaves and the veins have been made to stand out with some digital enhancement, making the image jump out.
