Barra de Potosi, Mexico - KAP 2012-3
February 15, 2011.
While on vacation in Ixtapa, Mexico, the owner of our Bed & Breakfast, Casa Candiles, took us on a couple of field trips. One of these was to Barra de Potosi, about a 1/2 hour's drive south along the Pacific Coast from Ixtapa - Zihuatanejo. I had the time to do an aerial photography session but the wind was only sufficient for autoKAP whereby the camera fires automatically at intervals while rotating a few degrees between shots. The wind was not strong enough to lift the fully remote-controlled rig.
I also did some time with my earthly camera equipment which can be viewed in my Barra de Potosi, Mexico Gallery in the main Mexico section of my website.
These photographs were taken using a remote-controlled camera suspended below a kite line (Kite Aerial Photography - KAP).
