Potvin Fields & ROPEC (Robert O. Pickard Environmental Centre), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada - KAP 2008-45

This KAP was done from Potvin Fields (Terraines du Potvin) which are sport fields located in the Canotek Business Park which is an industrial park in the Canotek Road area in the east end of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The fields are adjacent to the Ottawa waste-water treatment facility known as ROPEC (Robert O. Pickard Environmental Centre). The Ottawa River and Duck Island appear in many of the images. The images were produced to assist Ottawa Riverkeeper which is a non-profit environmental group that I support with photography. I also accompanied Ottawa Riverkeeper on a tour of the ROPEC facility a few days earlier, and "ground-level" photos of this tour are found in a separate gallery.
These photographs were taken using kite aerial photography (KAP).
