A series of rapids downstream from the bridge and several hundred metres upstream help to slow down the freezing of the Mississippi River (Canada). This famous five arch stone bridge is in Pakenham, Ontario. The town is behind the camera.

A Walk on the Beach - Aerial Photograph at Playa Arena,, Huatulco, Mexico.

One of my photography techniques involves kite aerial photography. This image was created on Playa Arena near Huatulco, Mexico. There is a pattern of water, surf, and wet and wetter sand along with a paths of footprints through the dry sand at the top of the image. What makes this photography really stand out is the fact that a couple is walking along the beach at the top right hand corner of the photograph and it is their shadows that you see before you see the people. 'Round the Point - Aerial photograph of a sailboat passing Pinhey's Point Heritage Property and Public Park on the Ottawa River.

This aerial photograph came together a bit by chance. I was photographing the point using kite aerial photography. I was standing behind a treed area and could not actually see the river and the point but I knew it was there and I worked to get the point itself well placed in the image. The fact that a sailboat sailed into the scene was coincidental and very fortunate as it really is a strong focal point in the picture.
