Windscape Kite Festival 2011

The Windscape Kite Festival is held each year in Swift Current, Saskatchewan. These photographs were taken on the weekend of June 25 & 26, 2011.
I was fortunate to be invited as a guest flyer to demonstrate kite aerial photography and to take aerial pictures for the event organizers to use in future.

The strong winds that persisted for the entire weekend became so intense on day 2 that I was unable to KAP. So I switched to ground level photography and tried to get photographs of the people and the kites. This is a selection of the images I took.
