Gatineau Park.
These images were taken during various hikes in Gatineau Park. One interesting subject which is only about 1 km walk from the nearest parking lot is Willson's Ruins which the ruins of Thomas "Carbide" Willson's Fertilizer Plant deep in the heart of a hardwood forest in Gatineau Park. The first image in the series, that of the ruins and the waterfall amongst the fall foliage, was published in the 2009 Rotary Club of Ottawa calendar.
