Chapeau, Quebec is on Allumette Island (L'Isle-aux-Allumettes), a 22 km x 12 km island in the Ottawa River. Pembroke is on the Ontario side, beside the southern channel and Chapeau is on the Quebec side, beside the northern channel and situated on Allumette Island itself.

The area also includes Morrison Island, Marcotte Island, and some smaller islands.

This photo was taken from a camera suspended below a kite line (Kite Aerial Photography).

This session took place during World Wide KAP Week 2009.
